An awesome night with an unusual experience was the spectacle to behold as many thronged in from far and near to receive the fullness of God’s Supernatural blessings bringing to an end Destiny Summit 2011.
Destiny Summit is one of the major annual Conferences of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) held in October / November of every year.
The Conference is a time for the church and congregation to reflect on our walk with God, His goodness, Faithfulness and also to give gratitude to Him for how far He has brought us. It is also a life transforming period to help us birth out what is hidden in our hearts. More so, it is a time for addressing issues related to leadership, personal, career development, family and the social transformation of our people.
Delivering the sermon, the Senior Pastor of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, USA, Bishop Joseph L. Garlington, admonished Christians to worship God whenever they face challenges. He reiterated that strongholds are broken when we move in spirit-filled worship. He noted that David in Psalm 141, asked God to let his prayer be like incense to Him as the evening sacrifice.
“God seeks those who worship Him in spirit and in truth”, he intimated.
The rich music that ushered all into a time of praise and worship saw the manifestation of God’s glory amongst His people. It was such an experience that many had yearned for in our year of Righteousness.
Destiny Summit 2011 experienced and unusual atmosphere with song ministration from Rev. Benjamin Dube, founder and CEO of High praise Centre, Boksburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Indeed, Destiny stands in need of us.
