Morning Reflection Luke 22:39-46 39 Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. 40 When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” 41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” 43 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. 44 And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45 When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. 46 Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.” |

Consecration • Praise God for the gift of the Holy Spirit who works within you both to will and to do His good pleasure.
• Surrender your plans to the Lord; ask Him to align your heart with His purposes.
• Ask God to create in you a clean heart that delights in His will above personal preference.
• Pray that throughout this season, you will become a vessel prepared for every good work.

Guidance • Ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern God’s will through His Word and prayer.
• Pray for grace to embrace God’s purposes even when they differ from your expectations.

• Pray that believers in Cape Verde will be stirred to deeper prayer, intercession, and dependence on God as they seek fresh opportunities for church growth and discipleship.
• Ask God to grant wisdom, courage, and integrity to church leaders in the Central African Republic as they shepherd believers and strengthen the Church.
• Pray that believers in Chad will remain steadfast in their faith and that their witness will bring many people to salvation in Christ.

Declaration I gladly submit myself to the will of God. His purpose is greater than my preference, His wisdom is higher than my understanding, and His plan is better than my own. The Holy Spirit strengthens me to obey, endure, and remain faithful. I will fulfill God’s assignment for my life and bring glory to His name in all that I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
